Lifted for victory!

Psalm118.16.(NIV) "The Lord’s right hand is lifted high; the Lord’s right hand has done mighty things!”
For us to wake this morning healthy and of sound mind, God did it. For us to have sufficient provisions for all our needs, God did it. For us to be victorious and excel, God did it. In fact there's nothing impossible with God (Mark10:27) . As Moses lifted hands gave Israeli victory (Ex17:11), so will our untiring God's right hand remain lifted on our behalf  in Jesus name. Amen. Good morning and enjoy the day the Lord has made.

One Body!

Ephesians 4:25.(NIV) "Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbour, for we are all members of one body."
As Christians we have one body which is God and we are the parts of that body speaking and doing the good God teaches us to do. Just as you can't lie to yourself so you can't lie to God or your fellow Christians if you want to live a fulfilled life of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Ghost! Good morning. May you have  fulfilment all round in Jesus name. Happy weekend =)

The WORD!

James 1:21.(NIV) "Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and the evil that is so prevalent and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save you."
Who is the Word? Jesus is the Word! When we accept him into our lives, we accept to hear the Word and then do as it says (Jas1:22). Our affluence cannot save us. Our job, people we know or are connected with cannot save us, only the Word of God can save us. The word of God will open our eyes to see that an action being taken by everyone might not be right. God shall help us to be willing and obedient children in Jesus name. Amen. Good morning and have a victorious week.

TRUE LOVE!

Romans 5:8.(NIV) "But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us." If God could give us his best, highest and most unimaginable gift while we were not even worth it then there is nothing he can not give us. His peace, joy, wisdom, healing etc is always available for anyone who needs it if only we can run to him (Math11:28). The sacrifice on the cross of calvary is for the world but only those that run to God will access the victory found it. Good morning, run to God with  any burden today  and he will take it from you and give you a great peace. Wonderful!!!!!!

Obedience or Sacrifice

Hello everyone! Sorry to have been away for so long but i give God the glory!!!!
Micah 6:6.(NIV) "With what shall I come before the Lord and bow down before the exalted God? Shall I come before him with burnt offerings, with calves a year old?"
What can we offer to God? He gave his best for us, loved us while we were yet sinners and had no understanding of true love. Will sacrifice of goats, sheep etc make a difference? The only thing God wants from us is that we accept his love and live in obedience because all his commandments are for our good, saving us from evil entrapment. If we then accept God, we choose to live a life of obedience (studying, meditation  and living the word) as this is the sacrifice acceptable to God (1Sam 15:22). Good morning. Blessed one of God be wise this week.

"Remember the Best, Forget the Rest " by Rick Warren

“I thank my God every time I remember you.” (Philippians 1:3 NIV)

What do you remember about people — the good experiences or the bad experiences?  The apostle Paul said, “I like to remember the good things about people, focus on the good times we’ve had, and remember the positive experiences.”

When Paul said this, he had not had an easy time in Philippi. Acts 16 tells us that when he went to Philippi he was illegally arrested, whipped, humiliated, and thrown into prison before finally being asked to leave town. Yet he says, “I thank my God every time I remember you” (Philippians 1:3 NIV).

Paul could have dwelt on the negative. He could have remembered the painful memories. He chose not to remember the painful things; instead, he focused on the things he could be grateful for.

Maybe you have been hurt in the past by a parent or a partner, and you’re still holding on to that hurt. As a result, you can’t enjoy being around them today. You’re still focusing on the negative.

Be grateful for the good in people. Pleasant memories are a choice. I can choose what I’m going to remember about the past.

I’m not saying that you deny the hurts you’ve had or that you excuse the weaknesses in other people. That is psychologically unhealthy. But focus on the good, and choose to emphasize the strengths.

I hear wives say, “He’s a good man, but ...” Anytime you hear “but,” it means the emphasis is on the negative and not the positive. Be grateful for what you’ve got! Mr. Perfect does not exist! I’ve heard the same thing from husbands, but Mrs. Perfect does not exist, either!

If you want to enjoy others, you’ve got to focus on their strengths and not their weaknesses. With some people, it takes a lot of creativity. But you can find something good in everybody.

Talk It Over

What are the painful memories that have kept you from showing love fully to someone?
What will you pray today so that you can let go of those memories and move on with your life?
What about that person can you be grateful for?
