Blessings

"For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt. But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.         Which would you prefer to be blessed just because you believe or to work for your blessings?  The people of old before the cross found it extremely difficult to work for their blessings and those in their midst that believed that God is  true and faithful to his words were blessed just for believing eggs Abraham, David, Joseph etc.
I chose to believe for my blessings. What do you choose?
