God's Faithfulness!

(Sorry for all the other days i didn't post, it was due to technical faults)

John14:12-14-
Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do because I go unto my Father.

And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

God just requires us to believe in him and then ask for whatever we need and we will have it.
We need to believe good health is for us, prosperity is for us, victory and every good thing to help us in this life, even patience to endure trials when it comes our way because there is always a purpose for everything that happens in the life of a child of God.
It is written in the book of Jeremiah 29:11 that his thoughts for us is for good and not of evil to give us a hope and a future! God assures us of his faithfulness all through his word if only we can believe!
Are you sick? just believe and speak his word by His stripes i am healed! and God will fulfill his word in your life. Believe! believe! God is faithful!
Are you depressed or discouraged? He said come unto me all ye that labour and i will giv you rest! run to him!
Are you disturbed by any situation? He said he will give us peace that surpasseth understanding!
Just believe!

Demons Begged!!!!!

Mark5:12-13
The demons begged Jesus, “Send us among the pigs; allow us to go into them.”  He gave them permission, and the impure spirits came out and went into the pigs.
This portion of the scripture sunddenly jumped out to me when i was studying my one year bible. It was like a bulb went off in my heart, my head, in fact entire system. Jesus answered the pleas of demons!!!! He actually gave them what they asked for! This is amazing!
Sometimes i would pray and then i would feel like my prayers didn't cross the ceiling (i wonder how many people feel this way) because i suddenly remember a sin or wrong that i did some time ago and immediately depression will step in. But after i read this pasage yesterday, i got full assurance that God hears me. He hears you because he never sleeps, he never slumbers, he never tires of hearing our prayers.

God is!

And Moses said to the people, “Do not be afraid. Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord…The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace.”
Exodus 14:13–14
Being still is the last thing we want to do when we are in a crisis. We always feel we should be doing something even when it is very clear to us that we can do nothing without divine help, we still struggle against what we can't help. It is written that we should look unto Jesus Christ the author and finisher of our faith! God doesn't work in a scattered environment or confusion because He is not an author of confusion. God wants us to trust in him without alternatives in our mind and then you will see his awesome power at the nick of time.
We need to be still for God to work in our lives, marriages, careers, ministries and the lives of our children. When we occupy ourselves or crowd ourselves it becomes difficult to hear from God, so he says BE STILL!

Love is the key!

1Corinthians 13:4  "Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud."
This is God's guideline on how to love each other whether your spouse, friend, children (biological/wards) and family. This is God's principle on love and can be so difficult to do. You have a child that is so stubborn that you feel like packing out but God says love, be kind,be patient! Ooooooh! it can be so difficult! but the word of God says we can do all things through him that strengthens us Phil4:13.
When we feel like losing patience with our children,we need time out to be able to practice what God is teaching us, believe me it works.
I had an issue with my son the other day because he went out with his boots to a nieghbour's house and left it there, only to have the neighbour's son bring it later in the evening which led to my questioning him and he did his usual style of looking at me as if i was speaking latin while he could understand me, it actually took the help of husband for me to take time out to be able to be patient with him. So time out is necessary with our children while with our spouses we learn to keep our busy with any other thing apart from talking when they are angry and talking! It works wonders! When you practice love as God directs in 1Corth 13:4, it soon becomes a lifestyle and our worries concerning our children, spouses, marriage and relationships as a whole will be sorted out because it says in1Corth13:8a Love never fails.                                                                HAPPY WEEKEND DEARS

Speak Good!

The mouth of the righteous is a well of life…
Proverbs 10:11

Speak The Good You Want To See

Anyone can speak what he sees, but it takes faith to speak what you want to see. Anyone can state the obvious, but it takes faith to see the invisible and call it forth!
Our Lord Jesus always spoke the good that He wanted to see happen. He practiced this so much that at one time, He said, “Our friend Lazarus sleeps, but I go that I may wake him up” (John 11:11). Everyone else, including His disciples, spoke of a dead Lazarus, who was already wrapped in grave clothes and laid in a tomb. But Jesus spoke of a Lazarus who was alive, and He called forth what He wanted to see. He said, “Lazarus, come forth!” and he who had been dead for four days arose and came out of the tomb (John 11:43–44)!
The Bible tells us that “God…who gives life to the dead…speaks of the nonexistent things that [He has foretold and promised] as if they [already] existed” (Romans 4:17, AMP). Beloved, you are made in the image of God and His Spirit abides in you. So if you want to see good in your life, then begin to speak it into your life. Jesus died on the cross to give you an abundant life. You have a blood-bought right to call forth a healthy body, a fulfilling career and a blessed marriage and family. Speak boldly the good that you want to see and start to experience it! (Joseph Prince)

The Currents Are Moving Your Way

What are you praying and hoping for today? I want to encourage you to stand strong because God is faithful to His promises!

The scripture tells us that the moment we pray, the tide of the battle begins to turn. Have you been praying for a long time? I believe the currents of God are moving your way. The currents of God are going to rescue you. The currents of God are going to turn things around! They are going to shift things in your favor! We may not see those results instantaneously, but that's when we have to walk in faith and patience so we can see His promises come to pass. Hebrews 6 tells us that through faith and patience that we inherit God's promises.
I heard someone who was being funny say, "Lord, give me patience…and hurry up!" I think sometimes we pray like that, "Lord, I'm being patient about this thing, so please hurry up!" But we have to remember that when we are in faith, we are content to wait as long as it takes. It doesn't have to be done our way or in our timing. Our faith, our confidence in God is what causes that patience to rise out of our hearts. We trust that God is working even when we don't see it.
Today, whatever it is you are believing for, rest in Him. Allow faith and patience to quiet your heart. Put your confidence and hope in Him because He who promised is faithful! The tide of the battle is turning! As you stand in agreement with His Word, you are activating His power in your life, and I believe you will see those dreams and desires come to pass in Jesus' name!(excerpt from Victoria Osteen)

IN CHARGEII

Jeremiah1:19- "And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for i am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee."
Many thing can fight against us, sometimes little things can fight against us that might not be finances, spouses and all the big problems we can imagine. A simple thing as housework can fight against us. When we become so focused on everything being in a particular way or at a particular place to ensure what we assume is neatness, we lose our peace because we then have a fight on our hands trying to place the dishes a certain way, the throw pillows a certain way every DAY!
We allow some things that we should prevail over, to prevail over us thereby making us to have unnecessary fights that could be avoided.
You must keep your home clean!! but do it with joy and not with the idea that it won't be messed up the next minute or with the fear that oh! they will soon mess everything and i'll start afresh (lamenting already) to arrange!
God is in charge of everything in our life down to the tiniest detail, so if he says it shall not prevail against us! then it is so, be it a pain in our joints, making the children fall in line or have a clean house. Because he has told us in Jer1:9b"----------for i am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee" he will give us the strength to do all we ought to do if we do all things as unto God, he will enable us and deliver us from housework stress, running after the children, schoolrun, taking care of the family as a whole. When you believe in God's help you won't burn out!

Wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished, but he who gathers by labor will increase.
Proverbs 13:11

Honesty—The Only Policy

People who are hasty for success and wealth often resort to dishonest means. They lie, cheat and even come up with elaborate scams to deceive the innocent and naïve. They may succeed for a while, but as God’s Word declares, “wealth gained by dishonesty will be diminished.”
The same verse states that “he who gathers by labor will increase.” So my friend, be diligent in your work. Trust in the Lord’s favor and goodness, and not in get-rich-quick schemes or scams. Conduct your affairs with honesty and integrity because the Lord hates “dishonest scales,” but “a just weight is His delight” (Proverbs 11:1).
Beloved, God wants you blessed and free of lack, but not through compromising your moral standards. He doesn’t want you losing sleep because you are worried about the law knocking on your door. So do it His way—honest, diligent work empowered by His unmerited favor—and enjoy His divine success.

Hospitality

1Peter4:9-"Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling". There are different ways to offer hospitality to someone, it is not just opening a door with a smile and giving a seat to the person, it involves  a lot of other things which some of us fail to do even as we welcome someone to our home.
One of the ways to offer hospitality is the level of care we give to our visitor. Ensure they are comfortable and their needs are met as much as lies in your power. Know when to offer hospitality by being silent and giving your visitor some space and when to offer excitement or when to occupy them.
As you do all these, you should do them with joy and no grumbling (1Peter 4:9) because we should always bear in mind that all we do, we should do as unto the Lord (1Corth 10:31b).

ANXIOUS!!

Philipians 4:6-7 "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."(NIV)
When your life feels unstable, it does not help to worry or be anxious, it is more beneficial to follow the guidance in Philipians 4:6. If you worry that your child is not doing well in school, it makes no difference rather will cause you to be irritated the more with yourself, the situation and the child. Instead of worrying you should pray to God that created the child and gave him/her to you. When you pray, the spirit of patience will awaken in you that you will be able to guide the child on the right path without irritation. A friend once told me that her son gave her so much worry concerning his performance in school that when she prayed, a solution came up that has made a great change in the child. I have adopted her style concerning my child and i will tell you it works tremendously.
When you are focused on Jesus Christ, he will take care of the situation, though we should be aware that the enemy will try relentlessly to turn our attention back to the problem and for us to feel nothing is really happening. We should know it is a lie and remain focused on Christ as we are advised in Philipians4:7.

You are not limited!

You Are Not Limited

Have you ever looked at your life and felt stuck in your circumstances? So many people are living limited lives and don't even realize it. They think things like, "That's it. That's all there is. There aren't any other options for me." They limit themselves to what they can see or what they knew growing up. If no one in their family went to college, they think they can't either. They let other people define their limits or allow their resources to define their limits. But the truth is, with God there are no limits.
If you've settled where you are in life, realize that you are not limited by your circumstances, your past, the economy, or what you have been told you can or can't do. You are the only one who sets the limits for your life, and today you can take the limits off by putting your faith and hope in Almighty God!
In Psalm 3, King David said, "O LORD, how many are my foes! How many rise up against me! … But you are a shield around me, O LORD; you bestow glory on me and lift up my head." When he wrote this scripture, he was in a very difficult situation. He was actually running for his life from his very own son who wanted to kill him and take over the throne. Can you imagine?! David was probably feeling overwhelmed, distraught, heartbroken, betrayed and abandoned—limited. Do any of these feelings sound familiar? But notice, David didn't just tell the Lord all about his problems. He didn't just sit and think, Looks like it's all over for me. I guess there's no way out. No. David spoke faith when he declared, "But you, God, are a shield around me." David made the choice to take his eyes off his circumstances and set his gaze on what God could do in his life. He was willing to stay open, and when his circumstances didn't give him any options, he knew there was an option he couldn't see. He chose to broaden his thinking to include the unseen, supernatural realm. When he did, he took off all the limits, and God miraculously delivered him.

BITTER?

Sometimes you feel you are just shooting breeze in other words gisting with friends and without knowing it you had crossed the line to gossip or slander which actually meand talking bad about another person. Most times this kind of talk comes from the household of Mr. gossip. Ephesians 4:29 "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
God wants us to be careful how we talk about others and what we talk about, Ephesians 4:31 " Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brwaling and slander, along with every form of malice. When you hear this kind of advice you will be like "ah? what a boring life!" It is so not true unless your life is shallow then there will be no depth to plumb. When you occupy yourself with interesting things like your walk with God, the care of your children, family and the ministry God has called you to, you will not exhaust on topics to discuss.
The truth is when you talk unwholesomely or bad of others you will end up filled with bitterness, rage and anger, all the things stated in Eph. 4:31 and there will be a disconnect with God and this is not just good enough.
Always see the good in your friends and sisters, if anything disturbs you, take it to God in prayer. God help us!!!!!!
